This website is dedicated solely to helping you discover those
occupations that best match your personality style. In
other words, those occupations that best match your interests,
skills, values and behavioral traits. The career guidance
offered here is intended to help you select a career goal, and
develop a plan to reach your goal.
Who should use this website?
This website was created for high school and college students
who are attempting to determine their first career direction
after graduation; as well as adults who are trying to make a
mid-life career change and who are unsure of a career direction.
How does the career guidance program
work?
This program will guide you through five steps that will help
you:
Define your personality style
(interests, skills, values and behavioral traits).
Identify possible career options
that match your interests.
Learn about the true nature of
each career option (duties, salary, etc.).
Select a career goal that best
matches your overall personality style.
Develop a career plan to reach
your goal.
How long does it take to complete the
program?
That depends upon whether you elect to complete the short or
long program. The short program takes approximately 30
minutes to
complete, while the longer program takes (on average) 4-6 hours.
What's the difference between the short
and long programs?
With our short program, you simply complete our
Perfect Career interest
inventory. It takes about 30 minutes to complete and upon
completion you will receive a personalized interpretation report
outlining your interest level in 21 major career fields and a
list of occupations that match your interest selections. This
short program is ideal for students and adults who wish to
complete a "basic" or "introductory" program of career
exploration.
With our longer program, you actually complete the five steps
listed above to:
Define your personality style
(interests, skills, values and behavioral traits).
Identify possible career options
that match your interests.
Learn about the true nature of
each career option (duties, salary, etc.).
Select a career goal that best
matches your overall personality style.
Develop a career plan to reach
your goal.
This option is ideal for students and adults who want a "more
thorough" or "more in depth" program of career guidance.
