Of the five steps in this career guidance program, this first step is the
most important! Please complete this step carefully!
When attempting to select a career goal, it's
critical that you first understand who you are as an individual. More
specifically, you need to understand your interests, skills, values and
behavioral traits. When viewed as a whole these four pieces of information
form your personality style.
The purpose of this first step is to guide you in defining your personality
style. You will accomplish this by completing a number of personal
assessment inventories.
For the most comprehensive assessment of your
personality style, it is recommended that you complete all four assessment areas
listed below. However, you may choose to complete as few or as many as you wish,
but you must complete at least the interest assessment section.
