The Perfect Career Interest Inventory (PCII) is a personal assessment tool
designed to:
1.
Take you on
a tour of the World of Work.
2.
Illustrate
your level of interest in 21 major career fields.
3.
Help you
identify your strongest work interests.
4.
Introduce
you to occupations that match your interests.
3. STAND ALONE OR PART
OF A BROADER PROGRAM...
The PCII can be used by itself and is ideal for students and adults who
prefer a quick, introductory program of career
exploration. If your preference is only to obtain a list of
occupations related to your interests, the PCII is perfect for you!
The PCII can also be used as part of a broader program of
career exploration - one that identifies occupations related to your skills,
values and behavioral traits, in addition to your interests.
2. HOW IT WORKS...
The PCII is very easy to complete - it takes only three steps:
1.
Complete a
short registration form.
2.
Review a
list of 252 common work activities found in our World of Work and check
those that are of interest to you.
3.
Rate each of
your interest selections as Strong, Moderate or Weak.
The PCII takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. Once completed you
will receive a personalized Interpretation Report identifying your level of
interest in 21 major career fields, and a list of occupations to explore that
match your interests.
4. CLICK THE OPTION THAT YOU PREFER...
STAND ALONE
To use the PCII by itself
and obtain an Interpretation Report listing occupations related
to your interests, click one of the two options below:
Use this option if you've never used this service before. Simply complete
our registration form and create a Username and Password to begin using the
PCII.
Use this option to return to the PCII if you previously registered and created
a Username and Password.
Note: previous users of the Career
Focus 2000 Interest Inventory must register as new users.
