Our career guidance program is ideal for high school and college
students who are struggling trying to select their first career direction;

To help you select a career direction and develop a career
plan, you will be guided in completing five exercises generally
considered by most career guidance counselors to be necessary

Our career guidance program has been
carefully designed to allow you to complete it without the need for
direct, face-to-face guidance from a professional career counselor.
Simply carefully follow our directions found on each checklist. Think of our program as a
independent study project!
Well tested and perfected over the last 40
years...
Our program has been in continual development over the last 40 years
and has been
refined and improved from feedback submitted by millions of users. For
example, during the period of 1989-2000, components of this program were
used by millions of AOL members in the Gonyea Online Career Center found on America Online. Their feedback has helped to refine this program into what it is today.
Time to complete...
How long it takes to complete the program varies from person to
person. However, most people report that they worked on it
part-time and spent approximately
1-3 hours per week over a 3-4 week period to complete the entire program.
Depending upon your motivation and schedule, you may elect to complete
the program in less or more time. It's totally up to you!
The important thing to remember is that
career decision-making and planning takes time - it can not be done
overnight! Do not rush through the program, take your time and
enjoy the journey. Dedicate yourself to completing the program.
